What a cracking day for our brilliant Nix Academy students who brought the joy to Bushy Park's beloved Chestnut Sunday celebration! Amidst the glorious sunshine and buzzing atmosphere, our talented bunch stole the show with their infectious enthusiasm.
Parade Perfection
Decked out in standard-issue eye-catching Nix Academy t-shirts and sporting the biggest grins in Bushy Park, our students kicked off the day by joining the vibrant parade that wound its way from Teddington Gate along the magnificent Chestnut Avenue.
Showtime!
Once the parade reached the main event area near the children's playground, our talented youngsters didn't just fade into the background – oh no! They delivered a fantastic performance including a mix of group dances and solos that had been previously performed at competitions.
A Day to Remember
As the event wound down and tired but happy Nix students were collected by equally tired but happy parents, the buzz of excitement was still palpable. Being part of such a cherished local tradition clearly meant the world to our young performers, and they represented Nix Academy beautifully.
Nicky, our fantastic founder, couldn't have been prouder: "Seeing our students shine outside their usual performance space and connect with the wider community is exactly what Nix Academy is all about. They've been absolutely wonderful ambassadors today."
A massive well done to all our students who participated, and a heartfelt thank you to the parents who helped with transport, supervision, and general moral support. Days like Chestnut Sunday remind us what a brilliant community we've built together.
